Applied AI Research Scientist

Position: Applied AI Research Scientist at CIBC

As an integral part of CIBC's Advanced Analytics and AI team, you will contribute to significant projects in foundation models and multi-agent AI. This role requires a strong background in deep learning, natural language processing, and predictive modeling. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire research life cycle, from collaboration with academia to developing and implementing AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive AI and Generative AI project initiatives

• Evaluate and integrate research for model development

• Collaborate with researchers and product teams

• Represent CIBC within the research community

• Contribute to large-scale GPU-accelerated model training

Requirements:

• PhD in deep learning or related field

• 3+ years of relevant research experience

• Expertise in cloud platforms and Databricks

• Familiarity with GPU acceleration techniques

• Proven track record in practical AI applications
