Duration
: 6-12 Months (Opportunity to convert to FTE/Permanent upon renewal)
Location: Hybrid (3x/week) in Toronto, London or Winnipeg
Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our API Integration team, focusing on Individual Customer and Advisor Distribution API products. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis of business problems and developing requirements, API Product specifications and contribution towards product design efforts. The Senior Business Systems Analyst champions and contributes to the development of analysis standards, tools, processes, and best practices.
This role applies advanced knowledge to complex work and supports delivery teams by sharing skills and mentoring. This role leads the work to implement solutions to complex problems, which may be independently or through leading or supporting the collaboration with other team members and stakeholders. /p>
Responsibilities:
Document all Q&A that need to be addressed to understand the integration requirementsInitiate a review of understood requirements prior to solution design with stakeholdersCreate data mapping documents between API and front end /back endContribute to the creation of OpenAPI specs and JDL filesCreate southbound orchestration specsDocument acceptance criteria for each storyCreate development stories and tasksLead story grooming and story pointing with development teamConduct review of completed work to ensure requirements have been metMust haves:
5+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in a large, complex organizationExperience working within an agile teamExperience with data mapping documents between API and front end /back endExperience with the creation of OpenAPI specs and JDL filesBachelors’ degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering or equivalent experienceAbility to effectively communicate high-level concepts and solutions with both technology and business teamsFamiliarity with several architecture integration patterns and analysis deliverables for themUnderstanding of Domain Modelling
