Lead AI Governance and Risk Control

Take charge of AI governance as the AI Governance and Risk Implementation Lead at a prominent pension fund in downtown Toronto. This hybrid role combines risk management expertise with strategic leadership.

You will play a critical role in implementing AI governance and risk controls aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. This includes bridging collaboration with Technology, Risk, Legal/Compliance, and business stakeholders. Your influence will shape sustainable governance practices while developing clear control expectations and scalable workflows across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply NIST AI RMF concepts throughout the AI lifecycle

• Develop and operationalize AI governance standards and procedures

• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions for governance model

• Create scalable workflows supporting AI governance implementation

• Translate risk requirements into clear control expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• Certifications like ISO 42001 Lead Implementer or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and risk management

• Ability to manage ambiguity and stakeholder alignment

• Effective communicator with enterprise risk mindset
