Lead SQL Database Administrator

Position: Lead SQL Database Administrator Role
Become a key player driving database solutions as a Lead SQL DBA with a top financial client. This role focuses on database design, automation, and support for high availability and resilience.

As a Lead SQL DBA, you will oversee Microsoft SQL Server installations and configurations across various environments, including Development, QA, and Production. Your expertise in implementing high-availability solutions, disaster recovery, and cloud services will be vital. In this position, leveraging your skills in automation and collaboration, you will impact mission-critical enterprise applications significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage SQL Server environments

• Perform upgrades, patching, and tune database performance

• Implement Always On Availability Groups for high availability

• Support Azure services for database deployment and recovery

• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or Ansible

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with SQL Server administration and tuning

• Strong knowledge of Azure services and virtualization

• Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and CI/CD pipelines

• Troubleshooting expertise across databases and infrastructure

• Ability to support mission-critical applications
