Analytics Engineer at Propel Fintech

In this role, you will lead analytics initiatives reporting to the Director of Business Analytics Engineering. You'll collaborate with departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Finance to understand their data requirements. Your expertise will help Propel leverage advanced tools like Snowflake and dbt Cloud to optimize analytics workflows and power data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data models in dbt Cloud and Snowflake

• Develop reusable datasets for reporting and analysis

• Improve Propel’s analytics ecosystem for consistency and performance

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into data solutions

• Build dashboards that drive informed decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 5+ years of analytical experience, preferably in fintech

• Advanced SQL skills for large datasets

• Experience with data visualization tools like Domo

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
