Role Join a team where your writing expertise has real impact. In the Technical Editor position, you’ll work alongside our technical staff to prepare and deliver technical reports and other documentation on various projects across the organization, in accordance with the specific scope. You will review, edit, and strategically assemble the various technical documents into readable, concise, and professionally formatted documents.
Success in this role will require very strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also need to be highly collaborative in your work and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization, across various provinces, countries, and time zones. This role is based in Toronto, ON, with flexible work options.
- Review and edit technical reports, and other technical documentation
- Develop, format, and edit large, complex documents, and publish reports
- Prepare report templates ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements
- Work together with Subject Matter Experts to ensure timely production and delivery of reports

- The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field
- Minimum two years of experience as a technical editor with focus on environmental or engineering related sectors
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting for the mining industry
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and writing tools
- Superior written communication skills, with ability to translate complex narratives and build strong content tailored to the needs of the teams and clients
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with high attention to details
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
