Location:
Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

Duration:
12 months

Must Haves

• 10+ years
  in
  cyber security / network security architecture
  , including strategy, design, integration, and implementation
• 5+ years
  designing
  enterprise security architectures
  across
  cloud, network, identity, and security operations
• Strong hands-on experience with
  SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP), IAM, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat protection
• Experience with
  hybrid security operations models
  involving
  internal teams + MSSP/MDR/SOCaaS
• 5+ years
  in
  network infrastructure and security
  :
  LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, routers, switches
• 5+ years
  with
  SDN / SD-WAN
  and
  3+ years
  with
  SSE/SASE platforms
• Experience with
  network monitoring / telemetry / logging tools
  and protocols such as
  Syslog, Net Flow, MPLS, VPLS
• 10+ years
  providing
  strategic advisory to senior leadership / executives
• 5+ years
  leading
  complex cross-functional technology initiatives
  and producing
  architecture / executive documentation
• Experience developing
  cyber security and network modernization roadmaps
  , governance models, and managed security service strategies
• Knowledge of
  Government of Ontario standards (GO-ITS)
  and
  Ontario K-12 / school board environment
• Relevant certifications such as
  CISSP / CISM / CCSP / CISA / CRISC
  preferred
