We are seeking a Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud Services to join the team in any of our offices.
The Manager, Infrastructure and Cloud Services is responsible for the management, reliability and ongoing development of the Firm’s core technology infrastructure and cloud platforms. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Technology, this role oversees the operational management, performance and security of the Firm’s infrastructure services, including cloud platforms, network services, enterprise systems and end-user technology environments.
The position exists to ensure the Firm’s technology infrastructure is stable, secure, scalable and capable of supporting the operational needs of lawyers and business professionals across multiple offices. The Manager leads a team responsible for infrastructure operations, cloud services management, network services and modern workspace technologies, ensuring consistent service delivery and alignment with the Firm’s technology strategy. Working closely with Information Security and Governance, Applications and Development, Service Desk and other IT teams, the Manager ensures that infrastructure and cloud services are effectively maintained, optimized and enhanced to support business continuity and collaboration.
This role contributes to maintaining a resilient and modern technology environment that enables the Firm to deliver high-quality legal services while supporting evolving workplace and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Firm’s infrastructure and cloud services by overseeing the performance, availability and maintenance of enterprise systems, cloud platforms and network services to ensure reliable technology operations across the Firm’s offices.
- Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations by coordinating the work of infrastructure, cloud, network and modern workspace specialists using established operational processes and tools to maintain system stability and service continuity.
- Lead and develop infrastructure and cloud services staff by providing guidance, mentoring and performance management to maintain a high-performing technical team capable of supporting the Firm’s evolving technology needs.
- Support the planning and implementation of infrastructure improvements by working with the Director, Enterprise Technology and other IT leaders to modernize technology platforms and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the operation and optimization of the Firm’s cloud services by coordinating cloud infrastructure, identity and platform management activities to support secure and scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure the effective operation of network infrastructure and modern workspace technologies by coordinating with specialists responsible for connectivity, endpoint platforms and collaboration technologies to support reliable access to Firm systems and services.
- Work with technology vendors, service providers and internal IT teams by coordinating service delivery, troubleshooting and system enhancements to maintain effective infrastructure services and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor infrastructure and cloud service performance by reviewing operational metrics, system alerts and service reports to identify risks, improve system reliability and inform technology planning activities.
