Operations Support Analyst
Seeking a highly motivated Operations Support Analyst to provide production support for critical enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical systems while supporting incident management, change management, deployment activities, and operational excellence initiatives.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux environments, Open Shift container platforms, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and application support processes. The candidate will participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for production incidents and change implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 2/Level 3 operational support for critical business applications and services.
- Monitor and maintain application health, system performance, and availability across production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, outages, and performance-related issues within defined SLAs.
- Support and manage applications hosted on Red Hat Open Shift platforms.
- Administer and monitor Auto Sys job scheduling processes, ensuring successful execution of batch and automated workloads.
- Support Feed Hub integrations and data processing workflows.
- Perform certificate lifecycle management, including certificate renewals, installations, and compliance monitoring.
- Manage and support Linux-based servers and application environments.
- Execute deployment and release activities using CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, UCD (Urban Code Deploy), UCV (Urban Code Velocity), and iDeploy.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to resolve production issues and implement enhancements.
- Participate in change management activities, including risk assessments, implementation planning, and post-implementation validation.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedules and provide after-hours support for incidents and production changes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Operations Support environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Open Shift.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Proficiency in Auto Sys job scheduling and batch process monitoring.
- Experience with Certificate Management and SSL/TLS certificate administration.
- Working knowledge of Feed Hub or comparable integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL best practices.
- Automation and scripting experience using Shell, Python, or Power Shell.
