Experienced Mainframe QA Tester Needed

Join a growing team as a Mainframe QA Tester, specializing in banking applications. Your expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Agile processes will be critical in ensuring software quality.

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe QA Tester with a strong focus on backend systems in the banking domain. You will analyze business requirements, prepare test scenarios, and execute various testing types including integration and UAT testing. Your hands-on experience with defect tracking and Agile methodologies will be invaluable in our testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases

• Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing on mainframe applications

• Validate data using SQL and DB2 databases

• Execute JCL processes for batch testing

• Log and track defects using JIRA or HP ALM

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Mainframe application QA

• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2

• Proficient in backend testing and SQL

• Familiar with API testing tools like Postman

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
