About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead strategic technology modernization and business transformation initiatives. This role will provide project leadership, governance, and delivery oversight across complex initiatives involving technology, operations, vendors, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
The successful candidate will drive project delivery while managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and organizational readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex digital transformation and IT modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, schedules, milestones, governance structures, and delivery frameworks.
- Manage relationships with vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and technology providers.
- Monitor vendor deliverables, contractual obligations, timelines, and performance.
- Establish and manage steering committees, working groups, and project governance forums.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, briefing notes, business cases, and governance materials.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and escalations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, business units, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Support organizational change management, business readiness, communications, training, and operational transition activities.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, procurement activities, resource requirements, and financial performance.
- 8-10+ years of experience managing complex digital transformation, business transformation, technology modernization, or enterprise projects.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary projects involving technology, operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices
. - Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, professional services engagements, and contractual deliverables
. - Strong experience preparing executive presentations, status reports, briefing notes, governance materials, and business cases
. - Experience with organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness planning
. - Experience managing budgets, forecasts, procurement, and resource planning
. - Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
. - Experience with Figma and collaboration platforms is an asset.
- Experience in public sector, utilities, infrastructure, regulated, or customer service environments
. - PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Lean, Prosci, or equivalent certification.
- Experience leading technology modernization, system implementation, operational transformation, or enterprise-wide change initiatives.
