Database Administrator (Intermediate

Contract Duration: August 12, 2026 – November 3, 2026

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support a fast-paced IT environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on DBA with strong SQL Server expertise, experience managing both on-premises and Azure cloud databases, and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Salesforce CRM.

You’ll be responsible for database administration, performance optimization, system integrations, reporting, and supporting business-critical applications used across the organization.

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases in both on-premises and Azure environments.
• Perform database performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, migrations, and ongoing maintenance.
• Support and administer Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and collaborate with Finance teams.
• Support and maintain Salesforce CRM
  , integrations, and related business applications.
• Develop and maintain SQL reports using SQL Report Builder
  .
• Support Microsoft cloud technologies, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365
  .
• Assist with web applications, APIs, SaaS platforms, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot database and application issues while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

• Strong hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (SQL Server).
• Experience administering on-premises and Azure cloud databases

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
• Experience working with Salesforce CRM
  .
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)/SQL Report Builder
  .
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform
  .
• Experience supporting application integrations and Microsoft-based business applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Microsoft SQL Server Certification
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Microsoft Certified:
  Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Business Central
• Public sector experience is considered an asset.
