Job Title: Senior Ansible Automation Engineer (Automation Solution Consultant - Senior)

Location: Toronto, ON (Remote – 4 p.m. and 12:00 am EST shift (preference))

Duration: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ansible Automation Engineer to lead enterprise automation initiatives across Windows and Linux infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable automation solutions, reducing manual operations, and improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• 7+ years of hands-on Ansible Automation in production environments
• 7+ years of Windows Server Administration (2012/2019/2022)
• 7+ years of Power Shell scripting (Windows automation)
• 7+ years of Bash/Shell scripting (Linux automation)
• 7+ years of Enterprise Linux Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Git
  , YAML
  , and Infrastructure Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, compliance, and operational workflows.
• Implement automated patch lifecycle management using SCCM APIs
  , WSUS
  , ADR
  , and Power Shell
  .
• Build approval-based deployment pipelines across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Integrate automation with enterprise monitoring tools and Service Now using REST APIs.
• Administer and support Windows Server and Enterprise Linux environments.
• Implement configuration enforcement, security hardening, and automated remediation.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to drive automation-first practices.
• Mentor technical teams and promote enterprise automation standards.

• VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
• Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise networking
• CIS hardening, compliance automation, and ITIL environments

• Red Hat Ansible Automation Certification
• Microsoft Windows Server or Azure Certifications
• ITIL Foundation
