Support Engineer

About the Role

Quod Financial is hiring a Support Engineer in Toronto to join our global Support team — a full-time, on-site role open to trainee, junior, and mid-level professionals who enjoy solving technical challenges and working closely with clients.

As a Support Engineer, you will act as the link between corporate clients and internal teams. You will support trading platforms, APIs, and backend systems, while also helping to ensure smooth communication across teams. In addition, you will work in a fast-paced environment where quick thinking and clear communication are essential.

  Communicate with global clients, including banks, funds, and trading institutions.

  Work closely with development, QA, and management teams to resolve issues.

  Integrate backend microservices, trading interfaces, and APIs such as FIX and REST.

  Configure and validate newly released features before and after deployment.

  Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain stability and performance.

• At least 2 years of technical experience in support or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux command-line tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills, especially when working with global clients.
• Upper-intermediate spoken English for daily interaction.

• Experience working with Linux configuration files.
• Knowledge of networking or system administration.
• Basic understanding of SQL or database systems.
