Our client, a global mining company, currently is looking to build a team to oversee data governance across the enterprise.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension - plan is for this to be a long term engagement

Location:
Mississauga, occasional travel to downtown Toronto. Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite

Primary Focus: MDM, Data Quality, implementation, integration, and technical delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Data Quality frameworks and controls.
• Define, configure, and monitor Data Quality Rules, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Configure survivorship, matching, deduplication, hierarchy management, and golden records.
• Perform profiling, root cause analysis, remediation, and monitoring.
• Integrate DQ/MDM platforms with enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Build automated data validations and monitoring processes.
• Support governed data products consumed by reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Required Experience

• 8-10+ years in Data Management, Data Quality, or MDM.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Data Quality
• Master Data Management
• Data Profiling
• Data Integration
• Stewardship Workflow Integration
• Experience implementing DQ and/or MDM solutions from requirements through production deployment.
• Knowledge of Informatica IDMC, SAP MDG, Reltio, Profisee, Semarchy, or equivalent platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring, automation, and DQ scorecards
