Become a pivotal part of Paralucent's SOC 2 Type II audit journey as a Senior SOC 2 Readiness Consultant. Focus on remediating controls and ensuring compliance with AWS and Microsoft 365 systems.

In this hands-on contract role, you will lead the SOC 2 readiness initiative, managing remediation efforts and aiding in evidence collection. Your expertise will streamline processes for Paralucent's stakeholders, ensuring a clear path to audit readiness over six months. Direct contributions will significantly enhance the security posture while coordinating with independent CPA attestation firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SOC 2 readiness assessments for application/AWS environments

• Develop and manage the remediation roadmap and control matrix

• Oversee evidence collection and manage vendor risk effectively

• Coordinate penetration testing efforts with external providers

• Prepare comprehensive support packages for audit needs

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SOC 2 Type II readiness and remediation

• Hands-on knowledge of AWS security configurations

• Experience with Microsoft 365 security practices

• Strong skills in vendor risk management

• Ability to work independently and streamline processes
