Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a collaborative and delivery-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support the adoption and evolution of Central Data Platform (Internal Data Platform). This role focuses on translating business needs into structured use cases, coordinating prototyping and validation activities, and enabling successful handoff into certification and industrialization streams.

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis, facilitation, and agile coordination skills, and is comfortable working across business stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and external vendors. The role operates primarily in the exploration and value-validation space, helping define what should be built, validating business outcomes, and driving adoption of centralized data capabilities.

• Facilitate discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define:
• Business problems and opportunities
• Use cases and user journeys
• Prototype scope and success criteria
• Functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• Test scenarios and expected business outcomes
• Translate business needs into structured documentation and actionable backlog items
• Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and centralize reporting and KPI definitions
• Maintain and prioritize the prototyping and experimentation backlog
• Operate with a Scrum Master mindset to ensure alignment across stakeholders, delivery teams, and business users
• Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and delivery progress for prototype initiatives

• Search and analyze assets within the Data Catalog (internal catalog solutions)
• Promote reuse of certified datasets, KPIs, and existing reporting assets
• Identify opportunities to reduce duplication and "dry out" decentralized reports and analytics solutions
• Support business users in understanding available centralized data assets and capabilities

• Coordinate functional testing and business validation activities for prototypes and sandbox initiatives
• Facilitate business sign-off and readiness assessments
• Promote adoption of Sandbox and prototyping capabilities across business teams
• Educate stakeholders on the distinction between:
• Prototyping and experimentation
• Certified and industrialized production solutions

• Route requests and activities to the appropriate teams
• Data definitions, certification, and governance → Data Stewards
• Pipelines, engineering, and productionization → Platform / Engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with Data Stewards, Platform Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders
• Support smooth transition of validated prototypes into industrialization and operational delivery streams
• Work closely with vendors and consulting partners to communicate business requirements, clarify priorities, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Facilitate collaborative workshops and working sessions involving both internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure external partners adhere to defined delivery processes, documentation standards, and governance practices
• Track action items, dependencies, and risks across both internal teams and vendor work streams
• Help bridge communication gaps between business users and technical implementation teams to ensure successful prototype delivery and adoption

• 10+ years of over experience as a Business Analyst with 5+ years as Senior Business Analyst
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Strong backlog management and prioritization capabilities
• Ability to translate business needs into structured use cases and functional requirements
• Strong background on AWS/Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, or enterprise analytics ecosystems
• Experience coordinating UAT, prototype testing, and business validation activities
• Working knowledge of SQL, BI Tools and data analysis concepts
• Familiarity with Data Catalog platforms and metadata-driven environments
