Senior Systems Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Duration: 1-year contract, with potential for two 6-month extensions

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst to support a major enterprise transformation within a large public sector environment. Youll play a key role in implementing IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), helping modernize an established enterprise work management platform and the processes that support it.

Youll contribute to a high-impact, large-scale technology transformation where your Maximo expertise will be highly valued. This role offers exposure to complex enterprise systems, cross-functional stakeholders and meaningful modernization work, with the opportunity to influence how work management processes are designed and delivered.

• Youll lead systems analysis activities supporting the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and replacement of an existing Maximo environment.
• Youll facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into functional, technical and non-functional requirements.
• Youll document current and future-state processes using BPMN, including workflows, procedures, roles, responsibilities and system requirements.
• Youll evaluate system design options and support integrations between Maximo and other enterprise platforms.
• Youll lead QA activities including test planning, test case development, requirements traceability, functional testing and UAT support.
• Youll develop operational procedures, training materials and sustainment documentation to support implementation and rollout.
• Youll contribute to enterprise work management standards, procurement documentation and continuous process improvement.

• 10+ years of application systems experience, including requirements elicitation, analysis and stakeholder facilitation for large-scale technology implementations.
• 10+ years of hands-on technical and functional experience with IBM Maximo v7 or v8, including IBM Maximo Asset Management and/or IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Extensive Maximo implementation experience supporting asset management, preventative maintenance, capital projects, vendor management, service requests and work orders, including web, geospatial and mobile technologies.
• 10+ years of experience analyzing and designing business processes, including strong BPMN and current-state/future-state process documentation skills.
• Strong QA and testing experience, including test planning, test data, functional testing and UAT. HP ALM experience is an asset.
• A university degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Public sector experience is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of Agile methodologies, data and business modelling, information management and enterprise technology environments.
