In this senior engineering role at Nu, you'll be responsible for overseeing critical platform capabilities that support thousands of brokers and topics across regions. You will leverage your expertise in Kubernetes, networking, and AWS to optimize the infrastructure and improve reliability and performance. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential to shape platform standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and enhance large-scale Kafka messaging infrastructure
• Improve performance and reliability of asynchronous communication systems
• Design high-throughput and fault-tolerant solutions
• Support incident analysis and root cause remediation
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for efficiency and cost awareness
Requirements:
• Strong experience with distributed systems in production
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and networking
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Experience with operational tooling and automation
• Excellent collaboration skills across teams
