Role Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist to support testing and quality assurance activities for large-scale enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing,executing, and maintaining testing processes across multiple platforms,ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certification in Software Quality Engineering or an equivalent credential is considereda strong asset.
• Minimumof 4 years of experience performing testing for large-scale applications,including:
• Web applications
• Cloud-basedintegrations
• Mobile platforms
• Experience executing testing activities and coordinating with team members to support timely project delivery.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand:
• Business processes
• Information systems
• Accessibility requirements
• Hands-on experience performing:
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• Regression Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience with API testing and AODA testing is considered an asset.

Technical Capabilities

• Strong experience executing test cycles, analyzing results, and managing the full defect lifecycle using tools such as:
• OpenTextALM
• JIRA
• X-Ray
• Confluence
• Experience with automated testing tools including:
• Micro Focus UFT / Open Text UFT
• TOSCA
• Selenium
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in:
• Waterfall environments
• Hybrid delivery models
• Experience testing specialized platforms such as:
• AI-based solutions
• Service Now
• SAP
• Demonstratedability to:
• Analyze business requirements and user stories
• Develop test cases and test scripts
• Assessand report testing outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Designand deliver detailed test cases and test scripts aligned with business requirements and project objectives.
• Execute testing activities and document results for:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Performance Testing
• Usability Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Maintain accurate records of defects and test discrepancies using approved QAtools.
• Provide timely testing reports and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts as required using tools such as:
• UFT
• Selenium
• Cucumber
• Serenity(BDD)
• Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, and developers to create and manage test data and testing scenarios.
• Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Agile, Dev Ops, and traditional project environments.
