Model & AI Governance Senior Manager Role

Elevate BMO's governance structures as a Senior Manager focused on Model and AI in Toronto. This hybrid role is designed for strategic leaders passionate about regulatory compliance and risk management.

Within the Data, AI Transformation & Analytics (D.A.T.A.) team, you will spearhead the first line governance for AI systems across personal and business banking. Your strategic insight will guide compliance policies and practices, partnering closely with various teams to promote scalable AI utilization while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of risk ownership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and enhance governance policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance from model intake to decommissioning

• Lead audits and self-assessments for governance processes

• Collaborate with product and technology teams for seamless integration

• Provide insights on governance risks and compliance status

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in governance

• In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics and AI

• Experience in regulated environments mandatory

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally
