Your role involves addressing security vulnerabilities and compliance enhancements.
This is a 3-month fixed term contract for experienced database professionals with hands-on MySQL skills. You will engage in ensuring the database infrastructure meets security requirements, supporting upgrades, and resolving issues in an unfamiliar environment. Your expertise is critical for maintaining operational integrity throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remediate SQL database security vulnerabilities
• Manage and perform database upgrades
• Implement compliance hardening practices
• Partner with application teams on database dependencies
• Document and communicate findings to the engineering team
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in production MySQL management
• Experience in database security and compliance
• Proficient in executing upgrades with minimal disruption
• Ability to navigate complex database environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
