Position: Interac SOC Engineering Leadership Role
Take the lead in SOC Engineering at Interac, enhancing security detection and response within a flexible hybrid work environment. Drive improvements in cybersecurity alongside dedicated teams of professionals.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development of SOC capabilities and engineering processes. With at least 7 years in cybersecurity, you will guide a team focused on security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response. This position emphasizes the importance of operational effectiveness and strategic capability advancement to protect Interac's core functions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SOC engineering strategies and enhance detection technologies

• Establish and maintain engineering standards and governance

• Drive collaborations to improve security monitoring workflows

• Innovate threat detection methods aligned with the MITRE framework

• Support incident response initiatives with technical expertise
Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years in cybersecurity engineering

• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and SIEM

• Strong grasp of network and cloud security principles

• Proven leadership in technology transformations

• Eligibility for Government of Canada clearance
