GIS Test Lead Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GIS Test Lead to lead end-to-end testing activities for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications and platforms. The role will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing test execution, coordinating QA activities, and ensuring the quality and integrity of GIS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong test leadership, stakeholder management, defect management, and GIS testing experience.

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for GIS applications and solutions.

• Define test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and execution schedules
  .

• Coordinate testing activities across business, development, QA, and GIS teams.

• Manage test execution and ensure testing milestones are delivered on schedule.

• Validate GIS functionality, data integrity, and business requirements
  .

• Track, manage, and report defects
  , coordinating with development teams through resolution.

• Prepare testing status reports, metrics, and executive/stakeholder updates.

• Manage testing activities using tools such as ALM or qTest
  .

• Identify testing risks, issues, and dependencies and drive appropriate resolutions.

• Ensure testing processes and deliverables meet established quality standards.

• Proven experience leading end-to-end testing for GIS applications and solutions
  .

• Strong experience developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Execution Plans
  .

• Hands-on experience with ALM or qTest
  .

• Strong defect tracking, management, and reporting experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Ability to lead QA/testing activities across multiple teams and work streams.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage testing schedules, priorities, and deliverables.
