What is the opportunity? Are you interested in working as a Data Analyst Co‑op on the Innovation & Tech team in Technology & Operations at the Royal Bank of Canada? RBC’s AI Business Enablement team is responsible for identifying and shaping opportunities for artificial intelligence (machine learning and generative AI, specifically) to produce measurable business value across Business Units and Functions.

We oversee a portfolio of opportunities ranging from near term to long term, partnering on delivery alongside domain experts, AI researchers, and machine learning software engineers.

What will you do?

Build and maintain adoption dashboards tracking RBC’s generative AI solution usage across Business Units and Functions, measuring feature adoption, time‑to‑value, usage patterns, and adoption curve progression.
Deliver weekly insights readouts to the AI Business Enablement team and Product team, translating usage data into actionable "so what?" recommendations that surface opportunities for greater business value.
Monitor and synthesize external GenAI trends from consumer‑grade tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to contextualize RBC’s internal adoption patterns, identify emerging use cases, and surface implications for enterprise GenAI strategy.
Conduct qualitative user research by engaging with communities of RBC’s generative AI solution users to capture success stories, identify adoption barriers, and document high‑value use cases that demonstrate measurable business impact.
Support phased rollout activities across business units and functions, including event support, post‑go‑live analysis, and creating repeatable measurement playbooks that standardize how the AI Business Enablement team tracks and reports value.
