Lyft Infrastructure Engineer - Observability

Contribute to Lyft's infrastructure improvement as an Infrastructure Engineer focused on observability. Automate and monitor systems to enhance service delivery in a hybrid setting.

As part of the Infrastructure team at Lyft, you will work on maintaining and optimizing the observability framework.

Your role will include supporting engineering teams while ensuring system reliability and performance through effective monitoring and tooling. With your experience, you'll help shape the infrastructure as it scales to meet growing customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop systems for enhanced reliability and efficiency

• Manage service-level objectives (SLOs) monitoring

• Maintain and analyze metrics for performance optimization

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams on observability

• Keep comprehensive documentation of infrastructure processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of systems engineering and software development

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Expertise in Go or Python programming

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructures

• Familiarity with observability tools and Kubernetes
