Senior AI Governance Specialist

Join the forefront of AI governance and risk management in a hybrid setting in Toronto. We need a leader with over 5 years of experience to operationalize crucial AI standards.

This 12-month contract role requires a strategic contractor to support the integration of AI governance practices as per the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. Your expertise will guide the alignment of AI standards with business teams, enhancing operational usability while balancing governance requirements. This position encourages collaboration across departments for effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create scalable workflows for AI governance deployment

• Develop executive-level communication materials for stakeholders

• Facilitate engagements to establish AI governance models

• Implement NIST AI RMF concepts into processes

• Work with the Project Manager to track project progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• ISO 42001 or related certifications valued

• Profound understanding of AI risk management practices

• 8+ years in technology policy initiatives

• Experience with AI governance and risk assessments
