On-Site Senior Broadcast Technologist Role

This permanent position is within the Technology & Infrastructure (T & I) team, which supports the backbone of CBC's media operations. You will tackle technical issues and implement next-gen broadcast technologies like video-over-IP and automated workflows. With your skills, you will contribute significantly to our mission of modernizing Canadian broadcasting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for studio operations
• Innovate and enhance broadcast workflows and systems
• Collaborate with teams to address technical challenges
• Update and maintain software and equipment
• Ensure high-quality content is delivered on time
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related area
• Familiarity with networking and broadcast technology
• Proficient in relevant software systems
• Strong relationship-building abilities
• Willingness to work on-site rotating shifts
