Interac’s SOC Engineering Lead aims to refine and advance the security posture of Canada’s most trusted financial technology brand. Reporting to the Leader of Threat & Vulnerability Management, you will oversee key engineering standards and ensure the effectiveness of SOC capabilities.

Your role is central in partnering with various teams to improve our threat detection landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance SOC capabilities and operational maturity

• Oversee security data pipeline and monitoring architecture

• Lead incident response and validation of threat detections

• Drive continuous improvements in security operations

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity technologies

Requirements:

• At least 7 years in cybersecurity engineering

• Experience with SIEM and detection engineering

• Strong understanding of cloud and network security

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

• Eligibility for Government of Canada Secret clearance
