The IT Support Technician will act as the first point of contact for technical support across the business, providing both onsite and remote assistance to employees. Working closely with colleagues across different time zones, this role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and a proactive approach to problem solving.
What You'll Be Doing Provide first-line IT support through the Service Desk.
Install, configure and support Windows, macOS and mobile devices.
Manage user accounts, permissions and access across business systems.
Set up equipment for new starters and support onboarding and offboarding.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and workplace technology issues.
Support meeting room technology, Zoom Rooms and AV equipment.
Maintain IT assets, loan equipment and inventory records.
Perform device upgrades, replacements and operating system deployments.
Escalate complex technical issues when required.
Maintain IT documentation and knowledge articles.
Support office technology for meetings and company events.
Contribute to continuous improvement across IT services.
What We're Looking For 1-3 years’ experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
Experience supporting Windows, macOS and mobile devices.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (Jira, Service Now or similar).
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity.
Basic knowledge of AV and video conferencing technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Okta and Atlassian products.
Experience with endpoint management tools such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with identity and access management.
Experience supporting hybrid workplace technology and meeting room systems.
Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Google IT Support, Microsoft or equivalent).
