Data Engineer – Azure & Power BI Specialist

Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer in Toronto. This role emphasizes proficiency in Power BI and data analytics within a hybrid work model.

In this position, your responsibilities will involve handling complex data migrations and utilizing analytics tools to derive insights. Your expertise in Databricks and Unity Catalog will be essential, especially while collaborating with teams to optimize workflows and strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of data from Tableau to Power BI

• Develop and maintain data schemas and documentation

• Analyze and extract insights from large data sets

• Implement automation for data processes

• Collaborate on technical strategies and solutions

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud and Databricks

• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and visualization tools

• Excellent analytical and documentation skills

• Ability to work in collaborative team environments
