Position: Mastercard Director of Machine Learning Models
Drive impactful machine learning innovations at Mastercard as the Director of Data Science. This hybrid role in Toronto centers on Anti-Money Laundering and crypto risk detection, vital for protecting cardholders.
You will lead a dedicated team within the Security Solutions Data Science division, focusing on model development and lifecycle management. This role encompasses both leadership and hands-on work, aligning closely with Product and Engineering departments. You will navigate complex environments, ensuring high standards for model quality and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data science initiatives for AML and crypto models

• Design and evolve data science technical roadmaps

• Collaborate with Engineering for streamlined implementation

• Maintain quality assurance and thorough model documentation

• Support Product teams to enhance model effectiveness
Requirements:

• Extensive data science experience related to financial crime

• Proven success in creating production machine learning models

• Strong expertise in Python and large-scale data platforms

• Highly autonomous with effective communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field
