Mercor is collaborating with a top-tier AI research lab for a unique project under the Frontier Code Agents initiative. We're looking for contributors who will evaluate AI coding models while completing real-world data engineering workflows. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics systems, as well as experience with AI coding tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate complex data engineering tasks with AI coding agents

• Review model-generated implementations for accuracy

• Identify issues in ETL pipelines and data architectures

• Assess the strengths of multiple frontier AI models

• Apply engineering judgment in realistic scenarios

Requirements:

• 2+ years of data engineering experience

• Proficient in building data infrastructure systems

• Regular use of AI coding tools like Codex or Windsurf

• Experience with large-scale data platforms preferred

• Ability to evaluate and improve AI model outputs
