Elevate your GIS expertise with Ting Internet as a GIS Specialist, ensuring accuracy in spatial data and systems. Engage in a supportive, people-first work environment while leveraging GIS tools and SQL.
As a vital member of Ting Internet, you'll manage GIS data integrity and support internal users across the fast-paced organization. Your responsibilities include addressing data issues, auditing partner addresses, and maintaining as-built records. You will utilize IQGeo and other GIS tools to deliver precise data reflecting real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage GIS ticket queue to resolve data issues
• Audit partner address releases and validate data accuracy
• Ingest as-built records from various formats
• Generate reports using database queries and geospatial tools
• Collaborate with design teams to update infrastructure data
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Geography or GIS
• 3+ years of GIS experience, including AutoCAD
• Strong familiarity with SQL/PostGIS, IQGeo usage
• Detail-oriented with solid project management skills
• Programming knowledge in Go or Python is a plus.
