Position: Senior Applied Scientist, Media Planning at Amazon
Drive innovation in media planning with Amazon's MADS team. As a Senior Applied Scientist, you'll leverage advanced machine learning techniques to enhance advertising effectiveness and customer measurement insights.

As a key member of the Measurement, Ad Tech, and Data Science (MADS) team, you will develop robust models and solutions that support advertisers in maximizing their ad investment.

Your role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design cutting-edge measurement tools, enhancing advertisers' strategic media planning. You will utilize technologies like Generative AI and Classical Machine Learning to deliver valuable insights, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of scalable advertising models and solutions

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement measurement strategies

• Apply state-of-the-art technologies in model development

• Drive continuous improvements through experimentation and optimization

• Mentor junior scientists to enhance team performance

Requirements:

• 3+ years of machine learning model development experience

• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research

• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python or similar languages

• Experience with neural networks and ML methodologies

• Familiarity with R, Tensor Flow, and distributed systems
