Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join a high-profile Life Insurance Modernization program. This role will focus on system integrations, data flows, technical requirements, and business process analysis supporting the implementation of new underwriting, policy administration, and insurance technology platforms. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and vendor teams.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, technical discussions, and solution reviews.
• Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
• Create and maintain Functional Specifications.
• Create and maintain Technical Requirements.
• Create and maintain Process Flows.
• Create and maintain Data Mapping Documents.
• Create and maintain Integration Specifications.
• Analyze APIs, system integrations, data movement, and application dependencies.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with both business and technology teams to deliver modernization initiatives.

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Strong Life Insurance industry experience.
• Experience supporting Life Insurance new business, underwriting, policy administration, or policy acquisition processes.
• Strong understanding of API integrations.
• Strong understanding of System interfaces.
• Strong understanding of Data flows.
• Strong understanding of Data mapping.
• Strong understanding of Technical documentation.
• Experience facilitating discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working on large-scale transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Experience with Sapiens insurance platforms.
• Experience with Ingenium Policy Administration Systems.
• Experience with underwriting or new business case management solutions.
• Salesforce experience within an insurance environment.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• LOMA certifications (ACS, FLMI, etc.).
• Experience working within a Canadian Life Insurance organization.

This role is ideal for a technically-focused Senior BSA who has spent the majority of their career within the Life Insurance industry. We're looking for someone who understands insurance business processes, can confidently work with technical teams, and has proven experience supporting enterprise integrations and modernization programs.
