Cloud Fin Ops Engineer – AWS Azure GCP Cost Optimization & Cloud Governance

• Develop and maintain cloud cost monitoring and reporting solutions.

• Analyze cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Build dashboards and reports for cost visibility using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or cloud-native cost management tools.

• Implement cost optimization strategies by identifying underutilized or idle resources.

• Automate cloud governance, budgeting, and cost allocation processes.

• Configure and manage cost alerts, budgets, and forecasting models.

• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, Finance, and Business teams to control cloud expenditure.

• Develop scripts and automation using Python, Power Shell, Terraform, or Cloud APIs.

• Monitor resource utilization and recommend rightsizing opportunities.

• Implement tagging standards and cost allocation frameworks.

• Support chargeback/showback models for business units.

• Perform cloud cost trend analysis and financial forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with organizational Fin Ops policies and governance standards.

• Prepare executive-level cost reports and optimization recommendations.

• Continuously evaluate new cloud services and pricing models to maximize business value.
