Position: AGCO Lead Data Governance Role
Lead data governance initiatives at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. This permanent, in-office role in Toronto involves enhancing data management strategies.

As the Data Governance Lead, you will be pivotal in advancing the agency's data governance framework. Your responsibilities include developing policies, conducting maturity assessments, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. You will also play a critical role in training and promoting best practices in data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive data governance policy development and maintenance

• Facilitate organizational assessment of data management practices

• Establish and lead governance bodies and forums

• Manage risks related to data governance

• Promote awareness through communication and training

Requirements:

• Over six years of experience in data governance

• University degree in a relevant field

• Familiarity with data management legislative requirements

• Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
