Become an Agile champion as a Scrum Master with Scotiabank in Global Payments Engineering. Lead teams in delivering exceptional payment services through effective Agile facilitation and collaboration.
In this pivotal role, you will contribute to Scotiabank's commitment to modernization in payment technology. You'll ensure Scrum methodologies are effectively implemented and enhanced, guiding the team toward operational excellence. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, aligning with the bank’s business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Scrum ceremonies such as retrospectives and reviews
• Mentor teams in Agile practices for continuous growth
• Eliminate blockers to facilitate smooth sprint progress
• Coordinate with Product Owners on backlog specifications
• Report on team metrics like velocity and burndown
Requirements:
• 3+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required
• Experience with Agile management tools like Jira
• Exceptional facilitation and communication abilities
