Location

Toronto ON Canada - Fully remote

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and support of data-driven applications, covering all phases of the SDLC, in highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed environments.
• Financial services and/or enterprise-level experience is required.
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL, including development of packages, procedures, functions, and other database objects.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Data Warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), fact and dimension tables, metadata, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience with ETL and Data Integration principles, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems.
• Hands‑on experience using Python for data processing, ETL automation, analysis, and scripting, including database and API integrations.
• Strong experience with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, including development, support, and optimization of reports and dashboards for business and regulatory users.
• Working knowledge of Java and/or REST APIs.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as BMC Control M and/or Auto Sys.
• Willingness to occasionally work non‑standard shifts, including nights, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
