Technical Writer

Zena Tech (Nasdaq: ZENA | FSE: 49Q) is a technology company specializing in AI drones, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), enterprise SaaS, and quantum computing solutions for mission‑critical business applications. Since 2017, the company has leveraged its software development expertise and expanded its drone design and manufacturing capabilities through Zena Drone to innovate and enhance customer inspection, monitoring, safety, security, compliance, and surveying processes.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our products, processes, and internal teams. The ideal candidate excels at translating complex technical concepts into user‑friendly content and collaborates closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, including engineering, product management, and support.

• Develop high‑quality documentation, including user guides, API references, release notes, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and process documentation.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and accessible content for various audiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across engineering, product, QA, and customer support to gather information and validate accuracy.
• Maintain and update existing documentation to ensure relevance, accuracy, and consistency.
• Standardize content by adhering to style guides, templates, and formatting best practices.
• Create visual aids (diagrams, flowcharts, screenshots, tables) to support written content.
• Participate in product testing to better understand functionality and identify documentation needs.
• Manage documentation workflows, version control, and content repositories (e.g., Confluence, Git, SharePoint).
• Ensure accessibility and usability by writing with clarity, structure, and user experience in mind.

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to understand and explain technical concepts.
• Experience creating documentation for software, systems, or technical processes.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as:
  Confluence, Notion, SharePoint, Markdown, HTML, Git/Git Hub, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, or similar tools
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Familiarity with UX writing principles.
• Knowledge of structured authoring frameworks (e.g., DITA).
