Our financial services client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (8-10 years) to deliver cybersecurity and infrastructure projects using Agile, Waterfall, Jira, and Confluence
Join a centralized PMO supporting infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives across a large financial services environment. This role manages multiple cybersecurity project streams, partnering with security, infrastructure engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver medium to large-scale initiatives. The position offers exposure to enterprise-level technology operations, project governance, and executive stakeholder engagement. The contract has potential for extension or conversion.
Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Monday or Tuesdays with Friday being potential being a 3rd day. 2-3 days in office but subject to change.

Must Haves
- 8+ years as an IT Project Manager delivering infrastructure initiatives
- 8+ years managing project budgets
, timelines, scope, and governance - 8+ years delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- 5+ years using Jira and Confluence
, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies - 3+ years delivering cybersecurity projects
Nice to Have
- PMP Certification
- Familiarity with Service Now for ITSM
- Working knowledge of security and cloud technologies
- Prior experience using Planview or Clarity as a PPM tool
- Cyber security technologies certification or working towards certification
Responsibilities
- Define test plans and ensure products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
- Develop and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope
- Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process and rollout procedures
- Manage medium to large-scale projects with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources
- Communicate project progress and stakeholder expectations
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses and project presentations to steering committees or sponsors
- Plan, execute, control, and close projects against defined scope and budget
