Technical Specialist in Healthcare IT

ENHANCE Ontario is hiring a Senior Technical Specialist to support Epic applications across hospitals. This permanent, full-time position will ensure high quality healthcare services through system maintenance and upgrades.

As part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, application support, and evaluating system functionality within the Epic Clinical Information System. Your insights will be vital for optimizing workflows and addressing end-user needs, significantly influencing patient care delivery in Central East Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues

• Conduct ongoing maintenance for Epic applications

• Lead and participate in application testing and upgrades

• Support committees in optimizing clinical workflows

• Update training materials in cooperation with Principal Trainers

Requirements:

• Must have Epic® operations or build experience

• Medical Laboratory Technologist experience is a plus

• Epic certification must be achieved within three months

• Strong understanding of lab processes and Sectra is beneficial
