Senior Platform Engineer

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Platform Engineer in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

• Design, deploy, and manage Databricks environments on Azure as part of the enterprise data platform
• Support the deployment and management of Azure data services and platform infrastructure
• Work closely with Azure networking, cloud, and security teams to implement secure and reliable platform solutions
• Configure and manage Azure networking, connectivity, security controls, and related infrastructure
• Support Databricks Unity Catalog and associated platform capabilities
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub and related tooling

• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to support data platform deployments and other Azure initiatives as required
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and platform-related issues
• Contribute to platform standards, automation, operational processes, and continuous improvement
• Experience deploying and managing Databricks in Azure
• Understanding of cloud security principles and enterprise network environments

• $13000.00 - $145000.00 hourly
• Focused on platform and infrastructure enablement for Data and AI workload
• Strong cloud/platform engineering experience rather than primarily coming from a data engineering or AI engineering background.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cloud, networking, security, and engineering teams
• Experience with CI/CD and Git Hub
• Broader Azure deployment experience beyond data platform
• Experience with infrastructure automation and platform standardization
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, identity, access management, and security controls in Azure
