Senior Developer of Azure & Databricks

Drive innovation at Scotiabank as a Senior Developer specializing in Azure and Databricks platforms in Toronto, Ontario.

This role offers the opportunity to lead infrastructure management and enhance automation processes.

In your role within the Enterprise Data & AI Technology organization, you will ensure the reliability and performance of our data platforms. This includes managing infrastructure, directing Dev Ops strategies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance platform features. You will also be responsible for incident support and advancing our operational methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and achieve team goals aligned with platform roadmap

• Direct architecture for Azure and Databricks

• Ensure high-quality user support delivery

• Implement Terraform automation for scalable deployments

• Manage performance troubleshooting across Databricks

Requirements:

• Over 15 years of IT experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks

• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Strong background in Azure security and networking

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
