Our financial services client is seeking a Application Release Engineer III (2–5 years of experience) to deliver automated build, test, release, and deployment solutions using CI/CD, Azure, and Infrastructure-as-Code

Join a team supporting enterprise automation initiatives within a banking environment. This role focuses on automated application and infrastructure deployment, CI/CD practices, and cloud-based delivery using Azure, Git, YAML configurations, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools. The position supports a team of 7 and offers potential for contract extension.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 2 days onsite

-Address: 310-320 Front Street West OR 7420 Tahoe (based on their preference/location)

Must Haves

• 2–5 years with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools including Terraform and ARM templates
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools
• Working knowledge of Git source control systems and YAML based configurations
• Cloud deployment experience with Azure
  , GCP, or AWS
• Degree in a related field

Nice to Have

• Operating system administration with Windows or Linux
• Enterprise monitoring and troubleshooting tools including Splunk, Datadog, or Dynatrace
• Knowledge of Azure systems, Azure networking, and SQL

Responsibilities

• Deliver automated solutions for building, testing, releasing, and deploying applications and infrastructure
• Integrate tools and processes into automation solutions with technology partners and teams
• Deploy custom-off-the-shelf products with technology partners and vendors
• Support CI/CD practices across Microsoft Azure and on-premises VMware Cloud platforms
• Maintain knowledge of engineering frameworks, platforms, tools, and deployment processes
• Identify solutions based on client requirements and technology needs
• Provide subject matter expertise related to engineering technology and automation tools
