As a Senior Database Platform Engineer at TD, you will engage in the administration, installation, and security of database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB. This hands-on position emphasizes cloud infrastructure knowledge as well as Dev Ops expertise, revolving around building and automating robust database environments to support mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement SQL Server environments from scratch
• Automate database provisioning and upgrades
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for database changes
• Monitor and tune database performance daily
• Collaborate with teams to deliver automated solutions
Requirements:
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB
• Strong Power Shell scripting and automation skills
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge, especially Microsoft Azure
• Infrastructure-as-Code expertise using Terraform or Ansible
• Proven troubleshooting ability across database and network systems
