Senior Systems Analyst – Hybrid

Create and maintain end-user documentation, technical documentation and developer guides
Establish reporting standards, KPI definitions and data governance practices
Gather and translate business requirements into reporting and technical specifications
Understand business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and reporting optimization
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPIs and trend analysis for leadership and business users
Develop ad-hoc analysis and structured recurring reports to support decision‑making
Partner with PMO, Finance, I&IT and other stakeholders to understand and integrate data requirements
Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports using DAX, Power Query/M, data modelling and semantic models
Build efficient reporting models using dimensional modelling / star‑schema principles
Optimize reports, datasets and models for performance, usability and scalability
Implement RLS, workspace security and access controls
Troubleshoot data refresh, model, DAX and reporting issues
Analyze enterprise and third‑party source systems and design data structures and integration approaches
Collaborate with data engineers, application developers and BI teams to source and exchange data
Identify data quality issues and implement appropriate controls
Support existing applications, reports, data models and business processes
Investigate production issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
Automate manual processes, improve data quality and enhance performance
Maintain and enhance reporting solutions
Analyze source and target data structures and develop data mapping, migration strategies and templates
Support migration of reporting data and processes during application or platform changes
Validate migrated data and maintain business reporting requirements during transitions
Develop and execute UAT, regression and production validation scenarios
Support reporting releases and post‑production validation
Maintain business, technical and data documentation
Collaborate with developers and business users throughout the solution lifecycle

• Strong Power BI development, Excel, data modelling and analytical skills
• Ability to build intuitive, dynamic and engaging dashboards
• Ability to optimize existing reports and data solutions
• Ability to develop new reporting capabilities
• Ability to ensure data is accurate, reliable and meaningfully presented
• Experience working with data from multiple enterprise and third‑party systems
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, I&IT, data and application teams
• Business‑minded data specialist and problem solver able to bridge business requirements and technical implementation
• Ability to understand underlying processes and data and create practical, scalable, decision‑ready solutions
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query/M, data modelling and semantic models

• Ability to troubleshoot data refresh, model, DAX and reporting issues
• Experience with enterprise and third‑party applications such as Service Now, Eco Sys and Jira
• Experience analyzing source systems and designing data structures and integration approaches
• Experience with SQL, Azure Data Lake, Dataverse and APIs as required
• Experience identifying data quality issues and implementing controls
• Experience supporting existing applications, reports, data models and business processes
• Experience investigating production issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
• Experience developing data mapping, migration strategies and templates
• Experience developing and executing UAT, regression and production validation scenarios

Demonstrates expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, and analytical skills to create intuitive dashboards and optimize reporting solutions. Capable of bridging business requirements with technical implementation while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
