Our client, is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Business Systems Analyst II to join their collaborative Business & Systems Analysis chapter.
In this agile squad role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams to analyze operational needs, author clear user stories, and perform end-to-end business acceptance validation. Suited for a junior-to-intermediate analyst with 2 to 5 years of progressive experience, this position offers an exceptional growth path to expand your system analysis expertise while supporting business-critical technology initiatives.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners to translate complex business requests into actionable technical specifications, validate software deployments, and ensure solutions align with strict privacy, compliance, and security standards.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Period: 09/07/2026 to 09/03/2027, with high potential for extension)
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (On-site 1 day per week at the corporate office)

Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Solution Design
User Need Elicitation:
Analyze and define end-user needs, translating complex business requests into clear system requirements, epics, user stories, and data mapping specifications.
Process & System Integration:
Partner with squad members to conduct end-to-end impact analysis, evaluating the links between operational processes and enterprise systems across the organization.
Documentation & Review:
Review, author, and provide constructive feedback on technical design documents, business documentation, and user communication materials.
Testing, Validation & Implementation
Business Acceptance Testing (BAT):
Lead business acceptance test planning, scenario creation, test execution, and outcome verification to ensure solutions satisfy business objectives.
End-to-End Release Validation:
Support operational teams during feature roll-outs, performing end-to-end system validation to confirm post-deployment stability (includes occasional off-hours/weekend support for go-live validation).
Compliance & Data Privacy Governance:
Ensure all requirements, data flows, and testing procedures adhere to strict privacy, control, and security standards when handling PII data.
Qualifications
Professional
Experience:
2 to 5 years of progressive experience operating as a Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst within an IT or operations environment.
Business Acceptance Testing:
Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test scenario execution, defect tracking, and validating business outcomes.
Data & Technical Literacy:
Strong proficiency with MS Excel, comfortable working with data requirements, and a demonstrated ability to self-learn new software applications.
AI Tooling Literacy:
Comfortable leveraging modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate documentation, analysis, and daily workflows.
Education:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and direct industry experience.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills; strong relationship-building abilities in a matrixed environment; comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing multi-faceted tasks.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Experience supporting customer-facing business operations or digital platforms.
Prior technical experience within the Financial Services, Insurance, Group Benefits, or Group Medical Underwriting sectors.
Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset.
