What you will be doing:
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables
Manage multiple concurrent finance modernization and technology initiatives
Coordinate activities between the CFO, Finance team, internal departments, technology vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders
Lead planning and coordination for the Sage 300 upgrade and related financial system modernization initiatives
Coordinate system configuration, testing, implementation, staff training, documentation, and deployment activities
Facilitate project status meetings and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and required decisions
Identify project risks and provide practical recommendations to senior leadership
Support change management, training, communications, and implementation planning
Develop and document business and functional requirements for future ERP and financial technology solutions
Support cost benefit analysis and business case development for future technology investments
Coordinate system integrations designed to reduce manual data entry and improve financial data accuracy
Work with internal teams and vendors to design, test, and implement automated workflows and system integrations
Coordinate testing and implementation of electronic payment solutions
Support the evaluation and procurement of future ERP, HR, and payroll platforms
Develop evaluation criteria, requirements, procurement documentation, and supporting materials
Coordinate vendor evaluations, software demonstrations, contract discussions, and implementation planning
What you must have:
Strong Project Management experience with finance transformation, ERP, financial systems, or enterprise technology implementations
Demonstrated experience managing financial system upgrades, implementations, integrations, or modernization projects
Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes including general ledger, month end close, financial reporting, and related workflows
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
Experience coordinating system integrations and automated workflows across multiple departments
Experience managing technology vendors, consultants, and internal business stakeholders
Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and status reporting experience
Experience supporting software evaluations, procurement processes, vendor demonstrations, and implementation planning
Ability to manage several concurrent initiatives with changing priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work onsite at OECTA's Toronto office as required
Salary/Rate Range: $88.00 - $98.00 per hour
